ABOUT CAITLIN
A native of Miami, Florida, Caitlin Javech is a graduate of The Juilliard School where she earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance and holds an MFA in Choreography from California Institute of the Arts. Caitlin has practiced Pilates for ten years as a form of cross-training to aid her dance technique, performance, and teaching. Her love of Pilates and teaching inspired her to become a certified instructor at The Kane School, NYC in both Mat and Apparatus. Caitlin is passionate about helping clients reach their health and fitness goals, recover from injuries, and improve posture through an individualized, detailed, and breatheful full-body workout. Caitlin's deep knowledge of anatomy and biomechanics along with her extensive movement background enhance her ability to work with a vast range of clientele.
Caitlin is currently based in Los Angeles, CA, where she works as special faculty at California Institute of the Arts teaching Pilates and building wellness offerings in the school of dance. Caitlin also teaches clients in-home, as well as in Studio City, Eagle Rock, and West Hollywood. Caitlin is adamant about helping clients to live happier and healthier lives supported by a consistent Pilates practiced programmed specifically for the individual.
JAVECH MOVEMENT
JavechMovement is a company with movement at its core, and creativity as its springboard. Founded in 2018 by Juilliard graduate Caitlin Javech, JavechMovement is a unique Pilates Training business that works with a diverse range of clients and specializes in working with dancers. With her experienced background in movement as a professional dancer and choreographer, her training at The Kane School of Core Integration, and a deep understanding of guiding healing through movement, Caitlin integrates her diverse background to offer both artists and Pilates clients safe spaces to grow. While many artists might create a divide between their creative professional pursuits and other career paths, Caitlin has found creative and inspiring ways to use her creativity to be a better instructor for each client she teaches.
